(Photo : Jawbone) Jawbone has announced their new line of wearables, including the inexpensive $49 UP Move and $179 UP3 smart-tracker.

Wearable products company Jawbone has announced two new products for launch in late 2014 and early 2015. The accessory manufacturer already has the UP24, recognized for its intriguing design and lack of a typical screen interface to display information.

The UP24 will remain on the lineup, between the inexpensive $49 UP Move and the more expensive $179 UP3. The UP Move is the more interesting device, due to its price and Jawbone's new interesting clip-on design.

UP Move can clip onto any sort of clothing and will show users their daily goals and steps. Jawbone has added a similar blind interface, making sure customers use their UP app on iOS and Android to track more stats, instead of reading the stats on the wearable.

The $49 price-point should appeal to newer wearable users, who want to test out the benefits of a fitness tracker. Jawbone is not the only company targeting this market, with Misfit and Pivotal both announcing cheap bands for first time customers.

Jawbone does have a knack for designing simple and elegant devices, whereas some of these other cheap wearables have no style or thought put into them - the only one of note is the Misfit Flash, which will also retail for $50.

UP Move will be available on Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Apple Stores and on Jawbone's own online store by the end of the month. It comes in a wide range of colors and designs, allowing customers to customize the wearable to suit their style.

UP3 is Jawbone's new high-end wearable and comes for $179 - $50 more than the Jawbone UP24. It looks to offer a lot more sensors than the UP Move and the older UP24, making it a perfect buy for anyone into sleep tracking and heart-rate.

Jawbone has added sensors capable of identifying how much REM sleep the user gets per night, alongside stats to show how long the user is in light or deep sleep. These stats are impressive, if Jawbone can make them consistent and usable.

The band has inbuilt software to understand what training or sport the user is playing and adjust counters accordingly. This is only the start for Jawbone - the company is interested in adding more tracking features in the new firmware updates.
